Wheelchair Basketball Coaching Clinic
NCCP Wheelchair Basketball Competition Introduction Coaching Clinic
The OWSA, in partnership with the Coaches Association of Ontario and the City of Toronto are hosting an NCCP Wheelchair Basketball Competition Introduction coaching clinic.
This course is open to any individuals interested in coaching wheelchair basketball at a community or competitive level. Coaches will learn how to instruct, observe, and correct skills in a combination of in-class and on-court settings. They will have the opportunity to practice planning and teaching sport-specific fundamental skills and concepts appropriate for athletes in the Learn to Train stage of the Long-Term Athlete Development pathway.
Competition Introduction is a 19-hour course scheduled over three days. Coaches must attend all three days in order to be credited for completion of the course.

Registration opens on Saturday, October 1 at 7:00am and October 11 for Non-City of Toronto residents
Family and Client Numbers are required to register. If you do not already have these, please call 416-338-4386 before registering. This can be done before the program registration is active.
