ONPARA is pleased to announce that Jesse McNalley has joined our ONPARA team as the new ONPARA Wheelchair Basketball Men’s Coach! 🏀♿️

“I am excited to introduce myself as the new Head Coach of Team Ontario Men’s Wheelchair Basketball, said Jesse. I bring with me 27 years of experience as a player and 11 years of coaching experience in the sport. What first inspired me to pursue coaching was my deep passion for wheelchair basketball, a love I’ve had since childhood. Over the years, this passion has been further fueled by my desire to help athletes reach their full potential. Another key factor in my long-standing commitment to the sport is the incredible community that has continually supported and nurtured wheelchair basketball. In addition to my experience coaching at the club level, I have also had the privilege of serving as the Assistant Coach at the Women’s Provincial Level. I have worked as an analyst for both the Men’s and Women’s National Teams at prestigious tournaments such as the Pan Am Games and the Paralympics. Currently, I serve as the Next Gen Development and Recruitment Coordinator for Wheelchair Basketball Canada, where I continue to learn and grow within the sport. As I step into this new role as Head Coach of Team Ontario Men, I am eager to foster an environment that emphasizes positivity, growth, and enjoyment for all athletes. It is my goal to create a space where players can thrive, both on and off the court. I look forward to this exciting journey ahead and am confident that it will be both an enriching and fun experience for everyone involved”.
