Sport Wheelchair Loans Program

Participants new to wheelchair sports can take advantage of our sport wheelchair loan program. For a low monthly fee, members can rent a sport wheelchair from ONPARA while they try out a new sport, save up to purchase their own custom equipment, or need a temporary rental while their equipment is being repaired. We want to make sure that the cost of equipment is never a barrier to participation!

Rentals to individual athletes

$200 deposit ($100.00 rental for 1 year) *Deposit refunded upon chair return

Rentals for non-profit organizations for adaptive sport activities:  

$25/chair for up to 3 days + cost of pickup and delivery* + mileage**

$50/chair for 3 – 14 days + cost of pickup and delivery* + mileage**

**Note, price will be determined on event and distance

Rentals to film companies or for-profit organizations for activities not related to running a sport program or activity: 

Daily rate: $50/chair/day for up to 1 week

Bi-weekly rate: $300/chair for 2 weeks 

Monthly rate: $550/chair for 1 month 

Note: Chair must be picked up and dropped off at the ONPARA locker

The Ontario Para Network has set up a link to easily pay for their ONPARA sport wheelchair rental using online methods such as credit card, Pay Pal or E-transfer.
