🎾 Shawn Courchesne Wins Birmingham Canadian Classic
Congratulations to Shawn Courchesne (Brampton, ON) on winning the Quad Singles title at the 2026 Birmingham Canadian Wheelchair Tennis Classic, held September 8–11 in Toronto!
Shawn capped off a strong week with a 6–1, 6–2 victory over Oliver Cox (UK) in the final to claim the title on home soil.
Reflecting on his tournament win, Shawn shared:
“Great tournament this week at the Birmingham Canadian Wheelchair Tennis Classic. I’m very happy with the way I played. I was able to win the tournament… couldn’t be happier for
winning my local tournament!”
