Team Canada Earns Bronze and Fourth-Place Finish at 2026 Commonwealth Games
Team Canada wrapped up an exciting 3×3 wheelchair basketball competition at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland, with the men’s team capturing the bronze medal and the women’s team finishing fourth after a hard-fought tournament.
The Canadian men rebounded from a semifinal loss to defeat South Africa 21-8 in the bronze medal game, securing Canada’s second-ever Commonwealth Games medal in men’s 3×3 wheelchair basketball. The women’s team narrowly missed the podium, falling 19-17 to Australia in the bronze medal game after advancing to the semifinals.
