Cruisers Sports is excited to announce the return of their Annual Multi-Sport Try It Day—your opportunity to experience several adaptive sports in one fun-filled afternoon!

Whether you’re new to parasport or looking to explore a new activity, this FREE event is designed for participants of all ages and abilities. No previous experience is required, and all equipment will be provided.

Date: Saturday, August 22, 2026
Time: 3:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Location: Mississauga Sports & Entertainment Centre 5500 Rose Cherry Place, Mississauga, ON L4Z 4B6

Try Multiple Adaptive Sports

Participants will have the opportunity to experience:

  • 🏒 Para Ice Hockey
  • 🏀 Wheelchair Basketball
  • 🏃 Para Athletics
  • 🎯 Boccia

While we will prioritize individuals with a physical disability for participation, friends and family members are encouraged to join in and try the sports as well, as time and equipment permit.


Tentative Schedule

3:30 p.m. – 4:50 p.m.
Para Ice Hockey Try It

4:50 p.m. – 5:20 p.m.
Transition to Gym Space

5:20 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Wheelchair Basketball, Para Athletics & Boccia Try It

Final event details and the confirmed schedule will be emailed to all registered participants on the Thursday prior to the event.
