Research Study: Exploring perceptions and utility of physical activity campaigns among individuals with a disability
Researchers and Master’s students from Queen’s University are seeking individuals ages 16+ who self-identify as a women or girl with a disability to take part in an upcoming research study. The purpose of this research is to examine how women and girls with a disability perceive Para sport campaigns and advertisements, and how popular Para sport campaigns may influence sport participation.
To determine eligibility, anyone interested will be asked to review project information and answer a few screening questions to ensure the project is a good fit. Participants under the age of 18 will require parental consent in order to participate.
The study will include:
- A one-time interview via Zoom (45 – 60 minutes)
- An opportunity to discuss results (optional)
A Zoom user guide will be emailed to participants in advance, and support persons are welcome throughout the interview process. Participants will receive a $20 cash compensation as a thank you for their contribution to the study.
