Research Study: Accessible/Adaptive Clothing Solutions

Ryerson University Fashion Design Students Requesting Your Input!

A team of fourth-year Ryerson University Fashion Design students are requesting your help with their project that is focused on developing accessible/adaptive clothing solutions for individuals with physical mobility needs. The team is interested in identifying clothing-related issues and investigating a viable solution for these individuals.

The team is currently seeking current/recent post-secondary students in Ontario, Canada with physical mobility needs as participants. Physical mobility needs can include (but are not limited to) individuals who have cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, spinal cord injuries, multiple sclerosis, spina bifida, and/or require the use of wheelchairs, assistive devices, etc.

Participation in this project requires a 30-45 minute virtual interview, conducted through Zoom, in order to gain insight into your experiences. There is an
opportunity for participants to enter a raffle to win a
$20 e-gift card as a thank you for their participation.

If you need any further information and/or would like to participate, please do not hesitate to contact kasie.lung@ryerson.ca
