Wheelchair Basketball Itinerary – Minis

Friday February 8, 2019

3:00pm – 4:00pm – Check in and registration at the hotel
4:00pm – Shuttles depart for dinner at Pickering Recreation Centre
6:30pm – Shuttles depart for Opening Ceremonies
7:30pm – 9:00pm – Opening Ceremonies at the Abilities Centre
9:00pm – Shuttles depart for hotel

Note: Families can choose to drive themselves to/from dinner and Opening Ceremonies if more convenient.

Saturday, February 9, 2019
A detailed game schedule will be communicated to all team coaches prior to the event.

6:30am – 8:30am – Breakfast at Holiday Inn Express
8:00am – Check out at Holiday Inn Express
9:00am – 11:15am – Game 1 & Game 2
11:15am – 12:00pm – Game 3 & Game 4
12:00pm – 1:30pm – Lunch at venue
1:30pm – 2:15pm – Game 5 & Game 6
2:15pm – 3:00pm – Game 7 & Game 8
3:00pm – 5:30pm – On-going snacks served on venue
4:30pm – 5:15pm – Game 9 & Game 10
5:30pm – 6:15pm – Bronze and Gold medal games
6:15pm – 6:30pm – Medal Ceremony

Note: Families are responsible for driving themselves between the venue and hotel on Saturday.

Sunday, February 10, 2019 – No games for Minis Division

Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre

Note: each Minis athlete/family (if more than one child participating) will have their own room with parents.

Registration Fees: 

• $190 Standard Rate
• $280 Family Reduce Rate – applies to families with 2 participating athletes
• $100 Local Rate – no accommodations provided

The registration fee covers the cost of competition, accommodations (unless otherwise noted), meals, ceremonies, and in-Games transportation on Friday night between the hotel and dinner and Opening Ceremonies.

Payment Method:
Payment can be completed online using credit card or PayPal or in person by cheque or cash. If paying by cheque, please make it out to the Ontario Wheelchair Sports Association and bring it to the Games.
