Match Day Registration
The Ontario Provincial Wheelchair Tennis League Match Days are intended to provide local match play opportunities that will help players gain the experience needed to compete in ITF sanctioned events in Canada and internationally.
The format of each Match Day will be determined based on the number of players registered. Singles matches will be played, and players will received ranking points based on their singles results. Ranking points will go towards an Ontario provincial ranking system, which will be updated after each Match Day. Doubles play may be added to Match Days depending on time and courts available. No points will be given for doubles results.
Registration Fee: $10.00 per Match Day
Registration Deadline: 1 week (7 days) before each Match Day

FAQ’s
Who can participate in each Match Day?
At this time, Match Days are intended for advanced level players. The Ontario Para Network will assess the level of players interested in entering the competition, and if there is enough interest, a beginner division or skills clinic may be added to some of the Match Days. All participants must be current ONPARA members. If you are unsure whether this opportunity is right for you, please contact katherine@onpara.ca.
When can I register for each Match Day?
Registration must be completed no later than one week (7 days) before each Match Day.
I registered for a Match Day but something has come up, can I cancel my registration?
Cancellations can be completed by contacting katherine@onpara.ca no later than 24 hours before the start of the match day, and a full refund will be provided. Registration fees are non-refundable within 24 hours of each Match Day.
Will there be any coaching at the Match Days?
A coaching component may be added to some of the Match Days depending on player interest and coach availability. Players will be informed prior to the Match Day if there will be a coaching component included. A coach and/or Ontario Para Network representative will be present at each Match Day to record scores and assist where needed.
Who will officiate the matches?
Players are expected to officiate their own matches and report their scores to the designated person on site.
Do I have to bring my own tennis balls?
Tennis balls will be provided by ONPARA.
