Athlete Ambassador Training
Looking for Athlete Ambassadors!
Open Call for Athletes!
Are you passionate and enthusiastic about the sport(s) you play? Have you ever wanted to share that joy and teach others about wheelchair sports and the importance of accessibility and inclusion? Do you want to become more involved in your community? Become an OWSA Athlete Ambassador today!
The OWSA will be hosting three Athlete Ambassador training sessions in September for anyone interested in becoming an ambassador for wheelchair athletics, basketball, rugby, and tennis! Ambassadors attend various community events throughout the year with the OWSA to help run sport demos, teach others about wheelchair sports, tell their stories, and discuss the benefits of getting involved in sport and living an active, healthy lifestyle!
Any athlete wishing to become an OWSA Athlete Ambassador must attend one of the training sessions offered. Refreshments will be provided at each session and all Ambassadors will receive an OWSA t-shirt. Athlete Ambassadors be over the age of 15 to participate.
