Wheelchair Tennis Itinerary
Friday, February 3, 2023
- 3:00 pm: Check-In at Homewood Suites Ajax
- 4:00 – 4:30 pm: Transportation to Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Centre for dinner
- 4:30 – 6:00 pm: Food Services Chestnut Hill Development Recreation Complex
- 6:30pm: Transportation to Abilities Centre for Opening Ceremony
- 7:00 – 9:00 pm: Opening Ceremony, Abilities Centre
- 9:00pm: Transportation back to Residence Inn by Marriot Whitby
** Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend the opening ceremony. All participants should arrive at the Abilities Centre for the Opening Ceremony by 6:30/6:45 p.m. Participants will gather in the atrium and will take part in a parade in by sport. Friends and family can also attend the Opening Ceremony for free.

- 12:00 – 1:00pm: Lunch Provided at Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Centre
- 6:30pm Transportation back to Homewood Suites Ajax
- 6:30 – 7:30pm: Dinner provided at Homewood Suites Ajax
Due to tennis matches not having a set length of time, Lunch will be picked up by myself if athletes end up competing during the allotted lunch break.

Registration Fees
Standard Athlete Fee: $110.00
Local Athlete Fee: $75.00
Standard Athlete Fee + Athlete Assistant: $110.00
The local athlete fee covers 2 days of competition, Friday evening dinner and Saturday lunch only, and ceremonies. This option is meant to accommodate athletes from the Durham area who are more comfortable staying at home based on their accessibility needs. No accommodations and no transportation will be provided.
Payment Method:
Payment can be completed online using credit card or PayPal or in person by cheque or cash. If paying by cheque, please make it out to the Ontario Para Network and bring it to the Games.
