2020 Orillia Ontario Winter Games

The 2020 Ontario Winter Games will take place from Thursday February 27 to Saturday February 29, 2020 in the City of Orillia and surrounding area. St. Peter’s Catholic Secondary School in Barrie will host the wheelchair basketball competition.

Registration Fee: $150
The registration fee covers the cost of competition, accommodations, meals, and in-Games transportation between the hotel, venue, and Opening Ceremony.

Registration Process:
Step 1 – All athletes, coaches, team managers, and officials must complete their registration online through the Ontario Games portal. Registration must be completed by Monday January 27, 2020 at the latest.

Step 2 – Complete the ONPARA portion of the registration on this page and submit your payment. Payment can be completed online using credit card or PayPal or in person by cheque or cash. If paying by cheque, please make it out to the Ontario Para Network and bring it with you to the Games.

The Orillia 2020 Ontario Winter Games is supported by the Government of Ontario, through its Games Ontario program. This program delivers or supports multi-sport events, including the Ontario Winter and Summer Games for youth, the Ontario 55+ Summer and Winter Games and the Ontario Parasport Games.

I require the use of a shower chair *

Shower chairs will be provided in the hotel rooms for all those who request one

I require a hotel room on Saturday evening *

Arrangements have been made for those who are traveling a far distance to be able to stay an extra night on the Saturday. Dinner will be provided on Saturday for these individuals. Rooms will only be reserved for those who request in advance.

I will need to stay with a parent/family member *

Parents will be allowed to stay overnight with their child(ren) on a case-by-case basis. This could include reasons such as needing to assist with personal care or medical care, as well as the athlete’s level of comfort/independence.
