Ontario Winter Games

The Ontario Games is the largest multi-sport event in the province and, for many athletes, is one of the highlights in their sporting careers. This year the event is being hosted by the City of Orillia. For more details please visit: http://www.orillia2018.ca/
Wheelchair basketball is one of the sports included in the 2018 Ontario Winter Games program, so we are very excited to be part of the action! Participants have been selected from a targeted pool of athletes which includes Provincial Team athletes (Juniors and Women), "Next Gen" athletes, as well as some Late Entry athletes.

Format: This tournament will be played in a 5x5 format and will follow the same rules used by Wheelchair Basketball Canada for 5x5 games in the Canadian Wheelchair Basketball League (CWBL) unless otherwise communicated. Click to view Team Assignments for the event.

Registration deadline is January 31, 2018
Everyone including athletes, coaches, team managers, and officials are required to register using the link provided.
Registration Fee: $175
This covers all athlete costs such as accommodations, meals, transportation during the Games, etc.
Athletes can pay online through the OWSA website or in person using cash or cheque
