March 8, 2024 – March 10, 2024The 2024 Junior East Wheelchair Basketball Championship is coming to Montreal, from March 8-10 at the Centre Pierre-Charbonneau . The event is governed by Wheelchair Basketball Canada (WBC) and presented by Parasports Quebec.
The event features the top junior wheelchair basketball athletes in Eastern Canada as they embark on the road to the 2027 Canada Games in Quebec City. Athletes representing New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario and Quebec will compete for a regional championship crown in 3-on-3 wheelchair basketball.
The event is inclusive and features both athletes with and without disabilities competing together.

March 22, 2024 – March 24, 2024The Canadian Wheelchair Basketball League (CWBL) Women’s National Championship occurs annually when the top competitive women’s club teams compete for the national title. The tournament has taken place each year since 1990.
The tournament is open to all eligible CWBL women’s teams in Canada. Teams that wish to compete at the CWBL Women’s National Championship must notify the national office of their intent to participate by contacting Wheelchair Basketball Canada.
The 2024 Canadian Wheelchair Basketball League (CWBL) Women’s National Championship will take place March 22-24, 2024, at College la Cité in Ottawa.
At this event, there will be two levels of competition as follows:
5v5 National Championship – Open to club and provincial teams playing a 5v5 format.
3×3 Recreational – Open to individuals* and teams playing a 3×3 format.
Development Clinic – Open to all female participants and Marni Abbott-Peter, Head Coach, Women’s U25 National Team, will host a development clinic from 9 AM to 11 AM on Friday, March 22nd.
